what the bride requested: Soft natural look with a bold lip.
Process before the wedding day: Created an inspiration vision board with 4 variations of the desired look to create a custom look for Yesenia’s big day.
What we did: Hair and Makeup for entire party
Day-of Timeline & Team: Arrived at beautiful Davis Island residence with a team of 4 starting with bridal hair prep and first bridesmaids at 8am.
List of Cosmetics used: Laura Mercier poreless primer, Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation, and Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick that’s kiss-proof
how we created the look: Custom blend of three foundations to match skin tone along with powder underlay for maximum staying power.
Challenges we overcame: Bride experienced a breakout days before the wedding (which is normal due to the stress of planning a wedding.) We started with a cucumber toner to calm the skin and provide aroma therapy for the bride, followed by a layering technique of primers to even the surface area prior to applying foundation and set the makeup in place with an all day setting powder that could withstand the summer heat in Tampa.
